However, feeling that her individual contributions were limited, her passion for real estate resurfaced. Having grown up immersed in discussions about real estate and starting her own investment journey in her early twenties, she officially became a licensed real estate agent in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia in 2004, a decision she has embraced wholeheartedly.

Since 2008, Casey has resided in a historic four-square home in Cleveland Park, Washington, D.C., and she owns multiple rental properties in the area. Her previous residences include Dupont Circle, Logan Circle, and Foggy Bottom. She possesses extensive experience in home renovation, having designed six kitchens and overseen two major renovations along with one minor project.

Originally from northern California, Casey grew up in Alexandria, Virginia, before relocating to D.C. in 1998. She married Richard in 2001 and is the proud mother of two children, Simon and Wren. With two brothers, two sisters-in-law, three nephews, one niece, and an unofficial step-mother and step-father, Casey's family ties are strong. She is the daughter of a Montessori school teacher and a retired Air Force and commercial pilot, and her entire immediate family has chosen her as their real estate agent.
