Cassandra "Candy" Stone is a seasoned real estate professional with a diverse background that enriches her approach to the industry. A graduate of Myers Park High School in Charlotte, North Carolina, Candy pursued her passion for real estate at Central Piedmont Community College, where she studied real estate and real estate law. At just 17 years old, she became one of the youngest licensed salespeople in North Carolina after passing the state’s real estate exam in 1973.

Following her early achievements, Candy attended the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where she embarked on a career in journalism, discovering a passion for radio and television news broadcasting. Her experience includes roles at several notable stations, such as WTSB in Lumberton, WSOC Radio in Charlotte, News Radio 93, WSGF in Savannah, GA, WYAV-104 in Myrtle Beach, and WECT-TV 6 in Wilmington.

In 1990, after marrying, Candy joined Helen Locklear's team at The Real Estate Exchange, where she led the sales team for the single-property home division. Her career took a significant turn in 1998 when she relocated to Charleston, South Carolina, obtained her South Carolina real estate broker's license, and began working with Coldwell Banker O'Shaughnessy Realty.
