About Catherine Scanland

Catherine Scanland brings a rich legacy in residential real estate, rooted in a family history that began with her grandmother, who founded a real estate company in Salem. This legacy continues through her mother, brother, three cousins, and uncle, all of whom have made their mark in the industry. Catherine obtained her California real estate sales license in 1996 and gained valuable experience working with a high-performing team in Palo Alto, as well as collaborating with a developer in downtown San Francisco.

Raised in Palo Alto, Catherine earned her business degree from Washington State University. In 2006, she and her husband, Tom, relocated to Bend, drawn by the area's family-friendly environment. After their two children settled into High Lakes Elementary, Catherine joined one of Oregon’s leading real estate teams in 2009 at a different firm in Bend.
