About Charlene Marrero

Charlene is a lifelong resident of Westchester County, with deep-rooted family connections along the Hudson River. Her grandfather was instrumental in developing bungalow homes and vacation colonies in Putnam and Northern Westchester County, catering to those seeking weekend getaways from New York City. With her father serving as Chief of Fire and Safety at General Motors' Tarrytown plant and her mother working as a school teacher in Dutchess County, Charlene's family established their home in Cortlandt Manor, while maintaining ties throughout the Hudson Valley.

Charlene began her professional journey in the fashion industry, initially with Manhattan Industries under Henry Grethal, after earning her degree from the Laboratory Institute of Fashion Merchandising. She further honed her skills in sales and merchandising with renowned designer Tadashi Shoji. In 1995, she chose to settle in the River Town of Ossining, NY, to raise her two sons closer to the vibrant Fashion District of New York City.

In 2001, Charlene transitioned to real estate with Coldwell Banker, driven by a desire to balance her career with family life. In 2008, she joined Legends Realty Group, founded by the esteemed Marcene Hedayati, and became one of the original 16 agents. Since then, she has witnessed the firm’s remarkable growth to over 75 agents, now operating as Corcoran Legends Realty.

As a licensed real estate salesperson in New York State, Charlene prioritizes building connections and making informed decisions tailored to her clients' unique needs and living preferences. Understanding that life’s transitions can alter housing requirements, she focuses on adapting to her clients' evolving priorities. Whether clients are seeking a commuter-friendly retreat, a luxurious residence, or a hidden gem, Charlene’s extensive experience and strong community ties empower her to help them realize their real estate aspirations. She looks forward to the opportunity to assist you in "Providing Keys To Your Future."

Major Westchester County, New York Real Estate Markets

The county's real estate landscape is anchored by several distinct metropolitan areas, each offering unique characteristics and market dynamics. White Plains serves as the commercial and residential hub, featuring high-rise condominiums and renovated downtown lofts that attract young professionals and empty nesters. Meanwhile, Scarsdale, Bronxville, and Larchmont command premium prices for their prestigious school districts and charming village atmospheres, often seeing bidding wars for well-appointed colonial and Tudor homes.

The Hudson River communities of Tarrytown, Irvington, and Dobbs Ferry have experienced remarkable renaissance in recent years, with waterfront properties and historic homes drawing Manhattan expatriates seeking more space without sacrificing their reverse commute convenience. Northern Westchester areas like Bedford, Pound Ridge, and North Salem offer estate-style properties and equestrian facilities, creating distinct luxury market segments that require specialized knowledge and connections.

Market Dynamics and Geographic Complexity

Westchester County's real estate market operates with surprising micro-local variations, where neighboring towns can demonstrate vastly different pricing trends and inventory levels within the same quarter. The Metro-North railroad lines create distinct corridors of demand, with properties within walking distance of stations in communities like Rye, Mamaroneck, and Mount Vernon commanding significant premiums over comparable homes requiring car transportation to transit options.

Seasonal patterns in Westchester follow unique rhythms driven by the academic calendar, as families with school-age children typically prefer spring and early summer transactions to align with educational transitions. This creates intense competition during peak months, followed by surprising opportunities in fall and winter markets when motivated sellers often accept more favorable terms from prepared buyers.

Why Businesses Need Westchester County, New York Agent Contact Data

Service providers targeting Westchester County's real estate market require comprehensive agent contact information to effectively reach this affluent and active customer base. Mortgage lenders, home inspection services, luxury contractors, and interior designers can leverage direct communication with all 6,658 licensed agents to build referral networks that generate consistent high-value transactions throughout the county's diverse communities.
