What are you doing fooling around in Real Estate I hear my dear departed mother’s ever-present voice asking in my head The answer mum is I am not fooling around Fooling around is not something I do having been reared by someone who was always on the alert for people not using their time or talents to their best ability particularly her progeny \nReal Estate as a business endeavor evolved as a calling resulting from a long career in home-furnishings that included the study of interior spaces architectural style product design marketing manufacturing and distribution With the addition of designing and managing multiple residential and commercial renovations along the way As such the result is that the majority of my sensibilities have revolved around living and working spaces and how people interact within them \nHaving grown up in Southern California then setting off to Boston for college (where there was a bit of fooling around) I was pulled back to California to get serious finish up and start my career path in Northern California then back to the south before being drawn to New York City where I was posted on either Madison or Fifth Avenues for nearly thirty years My work took me over at least half of the planet logging more than five million air miles I visited 49 States (missed Hawaii) 6 Canadian Provinces a bit of Mexico the Caribbean 15 countries in Western and Eastern Europe most of Eastern and some of Central China Taiwan Japan South Korea Hong Kong Thailand Malaysia Singapore and Indonesia All of this travel instilled in me a broad appreciation for different cultures and styles as well as great insight into the origins of our own American amalgamation culture and various regional styles It all taught me to listen pay attention and be keenly curious \nPerforming the consulting and execution tasks required in an agency relationship with people to assist and guide them through their real estate transactions has become my passion Every person and every home brings a new and unique story And the transaction process is a new chapter in the lives of each of the people and the places involved I cannot imagine anything that could be more interesting at this stage \nSo if you are looking to buy sell or invest in real property let’s have a conversation and see if it is a journey we would enjoy taking together
