My name is Paul Fitzgerald and I recently sold my 50 acre spread on CR 302 in Eureka Springs with the excellent realtor services of Cheryl Colbert with GMAC Let it be known I am fully aware that many people find me to be quite a picky person fussy in details and demanding of those I deal with I look at it as protecting MY interests and NOT rewarding incompetence I can recall story after story of major incompetence in Eureka Springs from doctors lawyers shopkeepers servicemen called to my home etc all people who expected to get paid for doing nothing or even damaging my personal property and yet can't understand why I speak out The worst offenders of all in my opinion are the majority of real estate agents who get commissions like a lawyer with none of the integrity
 
Cheryl tried to get my listing 2 years ago when my home was FSBO and I told her no I would use the agent recommended by a dear old friend What a mistake Nearly everyday during the listing that agent pissed me off one way or another I ended up cancelling the listing agreement early as I cannot tolerate stupidity (Example I had people show up unexpectedly wandering around my property as I go outside in the morning in my underwear claiming they had an appointment to see the house I call my agent she says "oops my bad didn't I tell you I made an appointment" weeks later  she CLAIMS she tried numerous times to call me about a buyer looking turns out the nitwit had "memorized' my cell number incorrectly Like I said Incompetence
 
Finally after cancelling that listing and two others that were just as bad I called Cheryl early May this year Honestly I was afraid she wouldn't take my listing even though she had brought more potential buyers while I was listed with other agents than any other realtor in town I made it perfectly clear how I felt and what I expected from an agent I'm paying a big fat fee to and she actually made me feel comfortable with my decision to list with her Then she brought me a cash buyer in 9 weeks We closed August 14th and now a month later I still can't believe I sold that place After two years I was starting to think I'd never sell that house   Cheryl earned her pay 3%  for the sale 3% for dealing with me   LOL
