Transitioning from the river to motherhood, Chris embraced a new path as an outdoor clothing designer for TEVA, showcasing her exceptional creativity. She has a remarkable track record in costume competitions, never having lost a single contest. Currently residing in Truckee with her husband Paul, a contractor, and their daughter Amory—who is pursuing a career as a helicopter pilot and guiding in Alaska—Chris has established a sustainable lifestyle. Their home, designed with passive solar principles and constructed entirely from reclaimed materials, is situated along the river in downtown Truckee.

Chris’s passion for real estate stems from her desire to help others achieve a similar quality of life. Her extensive experience includes building a straw bale house in 1994, subdividing land, constructing spec homes, and remodeling properties. This diverse background equips her with the ability to assess properties comprehensively, identifying both strengths and weaknesses.
