Christopher W. Covert Jr. is the Broker Owner and Founder of Guide Boat Realty LLC, a firm he established in March 2000. With a dedicated career in real estate that began in 1985, Chris has cultivated extensive expertise in the industry. His leadership has been instrumental in the growth of the Northern Adirondack Board of REALTORS, where he has served two terms as President. Under his guidance, the Board expanded its jurisdiction to include much of Essex County and parts of Hamilton County, and he played a key role in the introduction of a computerized Multiple Listing System.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, as well as several professional designations, including the National Association of REALTORS' Green Designation and a Graduate of the REALTOR Institute. His commitment to real estate education is evident through his involvement in various committees, including the New York State Association of REALTORS Education Foundation and the Multiple Listing Issues & Policies Committee, where he served as Chair in 2014.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Chris is a father to Alexandra, an archaeologist based in Arizona. In his leisure time, he enjoys pottery at BluSeed Studios and spending time at the lake with his partner, Andrea, and their dogs, Bella and Thea.
