About Christopher Nicotra

Chris Nicotra has been immersed in the real estate sector from a young age. At just ten years old, he was present at deal-closing meetings alongside his father, who owned a real estate investment and development firm. While attending Hamden Hall Country Day School, Chris gained hands-on experience working for his father's company. He later graduated from Babson College in 1996 with a degree in Business, complemented by numerous real estate courses.

Following his graduation, Chris relocated to Las Vegas, where he obtained a Nevada real estate license and took on a role in the management office of a prominent hotel and casino. Shortly thereafter, he returned to Connecticut, renting an apartment in downtown New Haven, where he recognized the area's significant development potential.

Anticipating the forthcoming revitalization of downtown New Haven, Chris began acquiring strategic investment properties, partnering with his father to establish Olympia Properties in 2000. Over the next two decades, he successfully closed more than 50 purchase and sale transactions and signed over 100 leases. In 2020, he launched Apollo Investment Properties as a successor to Olympia, focusing on commercial investment developments in Connecticut and Florida.

Chris's commitment to excellence has garnered him notable accolades, including the "Top 40 Under 40" award from the New Haven Business Times and recognition as one of 16 "Rising Stars" by Business New Haven. Upholding his family's legacy, he actively participates in community service, contributing time and resources to various local and national charities and non-profits, while also engaging with multiple local and national real estate associations.
