Cindy Best brings over 20 years of experience in guiding individuals toward their educational aspirations, specializing in securing scholarships, grants, and funding through a leading financial services firm. In 2020, she transitioned into the real estate sector, driven by a desire to assist clients in achieving their homeownership goals, whether that involves finding a starter home or a dream residence tailored to their lifestyle.

Originally from Dallas, Cindy chose to make Lubbock her home after moving there in 1989 to attend Texas Tech University, where she graduated in 1993. She married her college sweetheart, Eric, in 1996, and together they purchased their first home in 1998. They are proud parents of two sons, Tanner and Ben, who are currently enrolled at Texas Tech University.

An avid movie enthusiast, Cindy identifies as a Sci-Fi aficionado and proudly sports her Darth Vader necklace to every Star Wars premiere. She is also passionate about fitness, serving as a teacher at Pure Barre Lubbock since December 2018.

Cindy is actively involved in various non-profit organizations that hold personal significance for her. She has contributed to Susan G. Komen Lubbock West Texas and North & West Texas, serving on multiple Boards of Directors, including two terms as President. In memory of her mother, Heather, who passed away from breast cancer at the age of 45, Cindy established a scholarship for Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center students pursuing careers in breast cancer research through the Community Foundation of West Texas.
