About Claire McIntyre

Claire McIntyre's fascination with architecture began in her youth, influenced by her father and grandfather, who were dedicated to designing and constructing various public and commercial structures.

From an early age, Claire displayed a keen interest in homes, often cutting out images from magazines to create her own floor plans.

As a distinguished real estate broker, architect, and volunteer, Claire holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Texas, where she was the sole woman in her class. This specialized degree integrates multiple disciplines within the building industry, including architecture, structural, mechanical, electrical engineering, and construction management.

Claire notes, "Few universities offer this degree, and my background in architectural engineering and construction management aligns seamlessly with my real estate career."

With over three decades of experience, Claire combines her extensive expertise with a genuine passion for real estate, aiming to help clients discover homes that align with their lifestyle and financial aspirations.

"I view my role not merely as a salesperson but as a counselor or advisor," she explains. "I’ve often dissuaded clients from purchasing homes that may not be in their best interest. While emotions can drive buying decisions, I prioritize identifying potential issues, such as leaks, and advising clients accordingly. They may be surprised at first, but they express gratitude later."

This client-centric approach fosters trust and assurance, as clients recognize that Claire prioritizes their best interests.

"My goal is to ensure my clients feel secure in their decisions. I strive to do what is right for them, even if it diverges from their initial desires. I listen attentively and enjoy alleviating the stress associated with buying or selling a home."

Having successfully facilitated over 1,000 transactions totaling more than $250 million in real estate, Claire also possesses a Certified Construction Specifier designation. Her portfolio includes the development of office buildings, condominiums, and apartments, as well as the construction and sale of speculative homes and the renovation of single-family residences.

Although Claire valued the independence of running her own brokerage, she was drawn to Maxavenue’s innovative "Maximum Value Home Selling System," recognized as one of the most advanced marketing systems in the real estate sector.

"Joining Maxavenue has allowed me to enhance the services I provide to my clients," Claire remarks. "The dynamic and successful team here embodies the principle that 'success follows success.' The robust marketing support at Maxavenue enables me to connect clients with the right buyers for their properties. My mission is to secure the best possible price for my clients, and I am enthusiastic about being part of this team."

After completing her degree, Claire chose to remain in Austin, where she raised her family. This decision has afforded her a comprehensive understanding of Central and Northwest Austin, including neighborhoods such as Balcones Village, Spicewood at Balcones, Great Hills, Northwest Hills, Rosedale, Brykerwoods, Pemberton, Tarrytown, Lakeway, Millwright, Cedar Park, and Leander.

Outside of her professional commitments, Claire enjoys outdoor activities with her husband, adult children, grandchildren, and their four affectionate dogs.

"I cherish Lake Travis," she shares. "For years, my husband John and I owned a sailboat, taking our dogs out on the lake and camping. The area offers excellent hiking opportunities, and the beauty of nature is conveniently located within the city."

Dedicated to philanthropy, Claire and her husband actively support the Guardian Angel Society, an organization that provides vital assistance to abused children through the Center for Child Protection. Their efforts help raise awareness and funds, creating a safe environment for child victims to heal and find hope.

In her leisure time, Claire enjoys playing tennis and golf, as well as cycling.

Travis County, Texas represents one of the most dynamic and rapidly evolving real estate markets in the nation, anchored by Austin's explosive growth as a major tech hub and cultural destination. The county's real estate landscape has transformed dramatically over the past decade, with home values skyrocketing and inventory challenges creating intense competition among buyers. What makes this market particularly fascinating is how traditional Austin neighborhoods are experiencing gentrification alongside the development of entirely new master-planned communities stretching from Cedar Park to Pflugerville.

The county's real estate ecosystem is supported by an impressive network of 10,428 total actively licensed agents, with all 10,428 agents maintaining email contact information - a remarkably high connectivity rate that reflects the market's tech-forward nature. This substantial agent population indicates both the market's robust activity levels and the professional infrastructure required to handle the complex transactions typical of Travis County's diverse property types and price points.

Major Travis County, Texas Real Estate Markets

Austin dominates as the central marketplace, but the county's real estate activity extends far beyond the city limits into thriving suburban markets like Round Rock, Cedar Park, and Lakeway. Each area offers distinct characteristics - from the luxury lakefront properties along Lake Travis to the family-oriented developments in Leander and the urban condominiums sprouting throughout East Austin. The western portions of the county, including areas like Bee Cave and West Lake Hills, command some of the highest property values in Texas.

The northern corridor along Highway 183 and Interstate 35 has emerged as a particularly hot market, with communities like Pflugerville and Hutto experiencing unprecedented growth. These areas attract both first-time homebuyers and investors seeking more affordable entry points into the Travis County market, while still maintaining reasonable commute times to Austin's major employment centers and the burgeoning tech campuses.

Market Dynamics and Geographic Complexity

Travis County's real estate market operates with unusual velocity and complexity, characterized by multiple offers, escalation clauses, and cash buyers competing alongside traditional financing. The market shows surprising resilience across different segments - while luxury homes in Westlake and Tarrytown maintain steady appreciation, starter homes in areas like Del Valle and eastern Austin often sell within days of listing. Geographic microclimates create dramatic price variations within short distances, making local expertise absolutely essential.

The county's growth patterns create unique challenges, with new construction struggling to keep pace with population influx from major corporate relocations. This supply-demand imbalance has created opportunities in previously overlooked areas like Manor and Elgin, where savvy investors and buyers are finding value. The complexity of flood plains, MUDs, and varying HOA structures across different developments requires deep local knowledge to navigate successfully.

Why Businesses Need Travis County, Texas Agent Contact Data

Real estate service providers, from mortgage lenders to home inspectors, recognize that Travis County's agent network represents a goldmine of referral opportunities and partnership potential. With over 10,000 active agents handling transactions across diverse price points and property types, businesses need direct access to build relationships and establish referral pipelines. The market's rapid pace means agents constantly seek reliable service providers who understand local nuances and can deliver quickly.

Technology companies, financial services, and real estate startups particularly benefit from connecting with Travis County agents who are typically early adopters and influencers within their networks. These agents handle high-value transactions and work with affluent, tech-savvy clients who represent ideal customers for premium services and innovative real estate solutions.
