Colby is native to Little Rock Arkansas He is a graduate of James Madison University where he received a BS in Heath Sciences He found his way to Virginia by way of collegiate baseball where he played outfield and pitcher for the Dukes It was at JMU where he found his beautiful bride Carleigh Carleigh was born and raised in Williamsburg daughter to local agent and Tribe radio broadcaster Jay Colley
