About Cory Bemis

Having been born and raised in Yakima I feel as if I know and understand the area as well as anyone Growing up with two incredibly knowledgeable inspiring and hard-working entrepreneurial parents I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to learn and understand the ways of four independently successful local businesses This has allowed me to attain a large array of skills and strategies for finding solutions to different questions or dilemmas

Throughout my entire life I have always been interested in markets I love learning about and understanding everything from how different markets function to how they are sustained I've been active in many fields of the investment market from the age of 13 I discovered the Real Estate field at the age of 22 and immediately began educating myself A few months later I joined the newly established Creekside Realty where I was granted the opportunity to train under four seasoned Real Estate veterans I now actively invest in both residential and rental income properties

I returned to Yakima in the summer of 2006 after spending four years in the Seattle area and earning a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Washington The diversity of people as well as the four-seasoned agricultural valley of Yakima is just too pleasantly astonishing to keep away from I'm excited to be part of one of the strongest and most prospering real-estate markets in the Northwest

I earned my Real Estate License in 2006 and continue to represent buyers and sellers in both residential and commercial transactions I served a 6 year term (2011-2016) on the Board of Directors for the Yakima Association of Realtors for which I was the president in 2015 I also served a 5 year term (2015-2019) on the MLS of Yakima Board of Directors I have served on the YAR Professional Standards Committee each year since 2013 I previously served a 4 year term on the Yakima Tennis Club Board of Directors including serving one year as the Club President in 2012 I retired as the head coach for the East Valley High School Tennis Team after the 2012 season where I coached from 2007-2012 During this 6 year span the girls and boys East Valley Tennis teams each claimed at least one CWAC division championship and had multiple players participate in the state tournament

Outside of real estate my hobbies include: playing tennis golfing and spending time with friends and family My wife and I were married in 2012 and purchased our first home together a few months later We now have 2 children and a dog and we're looking forward to raising our family in the wonderful Yakima Valley

Yakima County's real estate market reflects the unique character of Washington's agricultural heartland, where sprawling fruit orchards meet emerging residential developments and established urban centers. This diverse landscape creates a complex market environment that ranges from affordable rural properties to premium vineyard estates, all served by a tight-knit community of 421 actively licensed real estate agents who maintain comprehensive digital connectivity with 421 agents having email contact capabilities.

The county's real estate dynamics are heavily influenced by its agricultural economy, seasonal employment patterns, and growing reputation as a wine destination. Properties here often carry dual potential as both residential investments and agricultural enterprises, creating unique valuation challenges that require deep local market knowledge to navigate effectively.

Major Yakima County, Washington Real Estate Markets

The city of Yakima anchors the county's real estate activity as the largest urban center, featuring established neighborhoods, commercial districts, and a growing downtown revitalization movement. Surrounding communities like Selah offer suburban appeal with mountain views, while Sunnyside and Grandview serve distinct agricultural communities with their own housing market characteristics. Each area maintains unique price points and buyer demographics, from young families seeking starter homes to investors eyeing agricultural land conversions.

West Valley and Moxee represent emerging growth areas where residential development meets rural charm, attracting buyers seeking larger lots and newer construction. The eastern portions of the county, including areas around Toppenish, showcase a different market segment focused on affordable housing and cultural heritage properties, creating diverse opportunities across multiple price ranges and property types.

Market Dynamics and Geographic Complexity

Yakima County's real estate market operates on seasonal rhythms tied to agricultural cycles, with spring and summer months typically showing increased activity as seasonal workers arrive and farming operations expand. This cyclical pattern creates unique opportunities for investors who understand the timing, while also presenting challenges for traditional residential sales that don't align with agricultural schedules.

The county's geographic diversity spans from Cascade Mountain foothills to Columbia River valley floor, creating microclimates that significantly impact property values and buyer preferences. Wine industry growth has introduced a premium segment focused on vineyard properties and rural estates, while traditional agricultural land faces development pressure as the region's population grows and urban sprawl extends outward from major Washington metropolitan areas.

Why Businesses Need Yakima County, Washington Agent Contact Data

Real estate service providers, from mortgage lenders to home inspection companies, require direct access to Yakima County's 421 licensed agents to effectively penetrate this geographically dispersed market. Technology companies, marketing firms, and financial services businesses benefit from connecting with these digitally accessible agents who serve a market experiencing gradual modernization while maintaining strong traditional roots. The complete email connectivity among all active agents facilitates efficient outreach campaigns and partnership development in a region where personal relationships and local expertise drive business success more than in typical suburban markets.
