A Stanford University graduate, she furthered her education with a Master of Public Health and a Master of Business Administration from UC Berkeley. Additionally, Cindy has firsthand experience in property management, having owned multiple multi-family residential income properties in Sacramento.

Having relocated from San Francisco over 25 years ago with her husband Mike, Cindy has remained actively engaged in her community. She was honored with the “Orchid Award” for her pivotal role in transforming a vacant lot into the East Sac Children’s Park at the intersection of Folsom Boulevard and 42nd Street. Through her negotiation efforts, East Lawn Cemetery donated the land to the City of Sacramento Parks and Recreation, resulting in a beloved community space. Cindy has also served as President of the Friends of David Lubin School, where she played a key role in initiating the annual Spring Garden Tour, which supports the Teacher’s Assistant Program and Arts Program.

In recognition of her community contributions, Cindy received the East Sacramento Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year Award in 2018 for her leadership in the revitalization of East Lawn Children’s Park, which included the installation of new equipment, tables, and benches. Furthermore, she was named to the Masters Club for the Sacramento Association of Realtors in 2019, underscoring her commitment to excellence in real estate.
