About Cynthia Sitton

Cindy Sitton relocated to Sanibel Island in 1998 with her husband, Brad, and their two children. She holds a degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Master’s degree in Marketing Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Prior to her career in real estate, Cindy spent 14 years as a high school educator in North Carolina. During her teaching tenure, she actively participated in various educational organizations, including serving as President of the North Carolina Marketing Educators Association. In recognition of her contributions, she was honored as North Carolina's Marketing Education Teacher of the Year in 1993.

Cindy transitioned to real estate in 2000 as a Sales Associate, quickly distinguishing herself among the top 6 percent of REALTORS nationwide. She obtained her Broker-Associate license in 2004 and earned the Sanibel-Captiva Island Specialist designation in 2008, alongside graduating from the National REALTOR Institute.

In April 2007, Cindy became the first sales associate at Sotheby’s International Realty, playing a pivotal role in the establishment and success of the Sanibel and Captiva offices. She served as Broker-Manager from 2009 to 2013. In 2014, she joined Royal Shell Real Estate, where she has consistently been recognized as a top producer in both marketing and sales. Notably, in April 2016, she facilitated the largest single-family home sale on Sanibel Island, a stunning property on West Gulf Drive that sold for $6,837,500.

Cindy specializes in the sale of luxury homes and condominiums, focusing on waterfront, beachfront, and golf course communities. A full-time resident of Sanibel Island since 1998, she has been a dedicated real estate professional in the area since 2000.
