Her deep-rooted involvement in the community includes serving as past president of the Sanford Area Association of REALTORS®, as well as holding positions on the Board of Directors for the Sanford Chamber of Commerce and the Governing Board for Central Carolina Hospital, a Duke Lifepoint facility. Cindy established her first real estate firm, Ammons Real Estate, in 2004 and expanded her business by acquiring an ERA franchise in 2006, which became ERA Ammons Realty. In 2010, she merged her company with two local firms to form what was previously known as Century 21 Southern Realty. In April 2016, ERA Strother Real Estate acquired Century 21 Southern Realty from Cindy and her partners.
