After retiring from a successful career in aerospace engineering in 2003, he relocated from the Bay Area. Initially, he engaged in selling new home construction before transitioning to part-time internet sales. In 2017, he renewed his real estate license and dedicated six months to further education and training in the field.

Since November 2018, he has been actively involved in real estate, initially on a part-time basis, and has transitioned to a full-time realtor since April 2019. He is married to Jo Ann, an educator with Clovis Unified School District, and they are proud parents of two daughters.
