Dan Slater, a lifelong resident of Orange, California, has deep roots in the community as a third-generation local. He completed his primary education at Immanuel Lutheran School and graduated from Orange Lutheran High School in 1977.

In 1985, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton, focusing on finance with a specialization in real estate. Shortly thereafter, he began his career in residential real estate brokerage at Orange Realty Inc.

Dan possesses extensive knowledge of the diverse neighborhoods within Orange, with a particular passion for the historic district known as “Old Towne.” This area, featuring over 1,400 structures built prior to 1940, holds the distinction of being California's largest historic district. He resides in Old Towne, where he has lovingly restored a 1920 California Bungalow.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Dan enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including gardening, backpacking, skiing, and traveling. In recent years, he has explored destinations such as Australia, New Zealand, Israel, and Egypt.
