David I. Colson is a seasoned real estate professional with over 14 years of experience in the industry. A Colorado native, he spent his formative years in Wheat Ridge and Indian Hills, later moving to Arvada, where he graduated from Arvada West High School in 1977. He furthered his education at the University of Colorado at Denver, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Journalism in 1984.

Before joining RE/MAX three years ago, David was the owner and managing broker of Raven Realty Inc., a boutique real estate firm in Northwest Denver. He currently resides in Lakewood, having previously lived in the West Highlands for nearly three decades.

David has an extensive knowledge of Denver’s neighborhoods, with a particular fondness for the West Highlands. He appreciates the charm of the Bel Mar and Olde Arvada neighborhoods as well, recognizing the diverse appeal of the Denver Metro area.

Among his favorite dining spots are several Mexican restaurants in the Northwest area, along with an Italian establishment called Patsy’s in the Highlands. Music is another passion, with Bob Dylan, Jerry Jeff Walker, and the Blues being among his favorites.
