About David Miller

Since 1987, Dave has dedicated his career to real estate, achieving remarkable success with approximately 60 listings sold annually and leading a team that closes around 100 homes each year. He prioritizes the success of his clients above all else.

Specializing in Bergen County, New Jersey, a picturesque region just outside New York City, Dave has cultivated a deep understanding of the local market.

Outside of real estate, Dave enjoys exploring history, engaging in sports, journaling, and traveling with his wife of 21 years and their two daughters. He is also committed to personal and professional growth, frequently attending seminars focused on self-improvement, time management, and real estate strategies. His exceptional team plays a crucial role in facilitating his success.

Whether clients are looking to buy, sell, or simply seek real estate advice, Dave is eager to assist in any way possible.

Dave's journey in real estate began long before he obtained his license. Approximately 25 years ago, he worked for a seminar company where he was responsible for renting venues, hiring speakers, and attracting real estate agents to attend. He had the opportunity to learn from industry leaders such as Mike Ferry and Danielle Kennedy, often spending time with them during travel and meals. A memorable experience includes being stuck in traffic with Mike Ferry for three hours, which further enriched his understanding of the field before he even became licensed.

Dave attributes his success to several key principles:

1. Engage with numerous people daily.
2. Document thoughts and ideas—keeping a journal is essential.
3. Specialize and develop expertise in a specific area.
4. Maintain kindness and uniqueness in all interactions.

Bergen County's real estate market stands as one of New Jersey's most dynamic and competitive landscapes, driven by its proximity to Manhattan and diverse collection of affluent communities. With 10,882 actively licensed agents operating throughout the county, this market represents a concentration of real estate professionals that rivals major metropolitan areas nationwide.

The sheer volume of licensed professionals reflects the robust nature of Bergen County's property market, where luxury estates in Alpine command millions while charming colonials in Ridgewood attract growing families seeking top-rated schools. This density of 10,882 agents with email accessibility creates unprecedented opportunities for businesses looking to connect with real estate professionals who understand the nuances of New Jersey's most sought-after residential markets.

Major Bergen County, New Jersey Real Estate Markets

The county's real estate activity centers around several distinct markets, each with unique characteristics and price points. Fort Lee and Edgewater dominate the high-rise luxury segment, offering Manhattan skyline views and modern amenities that attract affluent buyers and renters. Meanwhile, established communities like Englewood Cliffs, Tenafly, and Cresskill maintain their reputation for prestigious single-family homes on substantial lots.

Northern Bergen County markets including Mahwah, Ramsey, and Allendale appeal to families seeking newer construction and excellent school districts, while central areas like Paramus and Hackensack offer more diverse housing options and commercial opportunities. The southern portion, including towns like Rutherford and Lyndhurst, provides more affordable entry points while maintaining convenient NYC access via multiple transportation options.

Market Dynamics and Geographic Complexity

Bergen County's real estate complexity stems from its 70 municipalities, each maintaining distinct zoning laws, tax structures, and market characteristics within a relatively compact 247 square miles. This geographic diversity creates micro-markets where agents must possess hyperlocal expertise, from understanding Alpine's estate-level properties to navigating Palisades Park's dense residential developments.

The market experiences unique seasonal patterns influenced by the academic calendar of its renowned school districts and the commuter preferences of its substantial population of NYC workers. Properties in towns like Ridgewood and Glen Rock often see spring rushes as families time moves around school transitions, while luxury markets in Englewood and Teaneck maintain steadier year-round activity driven by executive relocations.
