Prior to his career in real estate, he served as a Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) Specialist in the United States Air Force, where he trained pilots and personnel at high risk of capture on survival techniques in hostile environments.

The family's passion for the outdoors and the quality of local schools for their two children inspired their permanent move to Amelia Island over a decade ago, a decision they have embraced wholeheartedly. Outside of his professional commitments, he enjoys spending time with his family, engaging in outdoor activities, traveling, and fly fishing.
