About David Wluka

With over 45 years of experience as a Realtor®, this professional has built a distinguished career rooted in a strong educational foundation from the Boston and Milton school systems and a Master’s degree in Urban Sociology from Boston University. He is an active member of the National Association of Realtors®, the Urban Land Institute, and the American Planning Association.

His extensive involvement with the National Association of Realtors® includes leadership roles on various committees. He chaired the Land Use Property Rights & Environment Committee in 2003, the Smart Growth Working Group in 2006, and the State & Local Issues Committee as well as the Public Policy Coordinating Committee in 2010. Additionally, he led the Massachusetts Association of Realtors® Quality of Life Working Group and has been a national speaker on Smart Growth topics. His contributions also extended to Governor Patrick's Zoning Reform Work Group. In 2018, he served as NAR's Liaison to its Public Policy Committees and currently holds a position on the NAR Board of Directors.

His leadership roles within the Massachusetts Association of Realtors® include serving as President in 2006, and he was also President of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board in 1999. He held the position of President of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board's Multiple Listing Service from 1993 to 1994 and played a pivotal role in establishing MLS-PIN, the Massachusetts statewide MLS Property Information Network, where he served on the inaugural Board of Directors.
