Bruce, a Dallas native, has had a diverse career that has taken the family across Texas, Washington, Utah, and Idaho. In the early 1990s, they relocated to Cedar Creek Lake, where they raised three sons: Brent, an Arlington firefighter and owner of Urban Timber Harvest; Justin, a paramedic in Parker County; and Ryan, a home remodeler and builder. All three are married and have blessed Debbie and Bruce with nine grandchildren—five grandsons and four granddaughters—who reside in the DFW metroplex.
