During her time at TCU, she was a member of the Horned Frog Cheerleading squad and later founded The Cheer Connection, which became the largest cheer gym in Fort Worth before she sold it in 1998. Following this, she served as an admissions associate and cheerleading program director at All Saints' Episcopal School until 2008.

Deborah is married to Clint Bailey, the owner of Bailey Auto Plaza in Graham, Texas. Together, they are founding homeowners at The Harbor at Possum Kingdom Lake, where they enjoy part-time residency. With their two children now pursuing their studies at the University of Texas and the University of Alabama, Deborah and Clint have embraced the transition to an empty nest.

Since obtaining her real estate license in 2014, Deborah has earned the designations of Certified Negotiation Specialist and Luxury Home Specialist, further enhancing her expertise in the field.
