Originally from a small town near Odessa, Ukraine, Denis relocated to the United States at the age of 14, embarking on a new chapter in Rochester, New York. He graduated from Smith Cotton High School in Sedalia, Missouri, in 2000 and later pursued a degree in Construction Management and Computer-Aided Drafting at Southeast Community College in Lincoln, Nebraska.

In 2006, Denis married his high school sweetheart from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and together they are proud parents of four children. The family moved to Charlotte in December 2007, drawn to the region's unique blend of mountains and ocean, which perfectly suits their diverse interests.

In 2012, Denis launched his own business, gaining valuable insights into entrepreneurship and the challenges it entails. His journey has been enriched by the relationships he has built along the way, each contributing to his personal and professional growth.
