About Dennis Morgan

Dennis Morgan, a lifelong resident of The Dalles, has built a diverse and accomplished career. After completing high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, returning home to establish a family. He spent several years in the lumber mill industry before transitioning to a 23-year career as a carpenter and builder, culminating in six years as a general contractor. In 1997, Dennis shifted his focus to real estate, marking the beginning of a successful journey in the field.

Deeply rooted in his community, Dennis actively participates in various local initiatives. He is a founding board member of The Theatre Company of The Dalles and has over 30 years of experience as a high school baseball umpire. His leadership roles include serving as Past President of the Kiwanis Club, where he was honored as Kiwanian of the Year in 2005. Additionally, he has held the position of Past President of the Mid-Columbia Association of Realtors, where he was recognized as Realtor of the Year in 2004. His contributions to the community have earned him accolades such as the Outstanding Citizen of the Year from the Chamber of Commerce in 2007 and the Outstanding Philanthropist Award from the Mid-Columbia Health Foundation in 2008. He is also a Paul Harris Fellow with the Rotary Club.

While Dennis takes pride in his professional achievements, he considers his family to be his greatest joy. He is the father of two accomplished sons and a daughter whose insights continually inspire him. His five grandchildren bring immense happiness to his life. Married for over 29 years, Dennis and his wife share a passion for the outdoors. They enjoy whitewater rafting, embarking on multi-day trips each summer on rivers such as the Deschutes, Rogue, and Payette. Their love for nature extends to biking, hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities.

After 16 years in real estate, including five and a half years as a Principal Broker/Owner, Dennis joined the Copper West family in 2013. He regards this decision as one of the most significant in his career and is dedicated to assisting his clients in navigating the complexities of their real estate transactions, helping them make some of the most important financial decisions of their lives.
