Diana Mettille began investing in real estate at the early age of 19 by purchasing three lakefront lots from a local bank Diana sold the properties two years later for triple the purchase price Hooked on real estate she began other projects purchasing land subdividing it and building duplexes

In 1978 Diana and her two boys took a vacation to Alaska and as fate has it she purchased land on a float plane lake and started building a log home The log house ended up more like a log mansion with 22 foot ceilings prism leaded-glass windows and bedroom dormers The property was quite remote and there were very few land lines at that time so everyone used CB radios to communicate Diana and Charles met and married while attending a little log church in Soldotna AK and a daughter was added to the family a year later Charles and Diana continued to invest in real estate develop land and build two businesses Culligan Water and Alaska Crystal Clear Bottled Water

In 1982 The couple purchased 26 acres of lakefront property and Charlie built the road and subdivided the land for their friends family and new lakeside home The couple continued to invest in real estate and build rental properties In 1998 their lakefront home caught the attention of some investors and the location for a luxurious Lakeside Lodge who entertained some famous visitors
