An advocate for radio journalism, Doug began his career as a local news reporter for KQED News Radio and NPR after graduating from UC Davis. He hosted a talk show on KDVS called "Family," which focused on LGBT issues and featured interviews with role models discussing their journeys, all set against a backdrop of his favorite house and electronic music. Outside of his professional life, Doug enjoys world travel, fine dining, and sharing life with his husband, Abe.
