About Douglas Grisbaum

Doug Grisbaum has deep roots in Ocean City, where he has lived his entire life. With 35 years of experience in real estate, he takes great pride in witnessing the joy of families who have purchased homes through him. Hearing their stories about how much happiness their properties bring, especially to their children and grandchildren, is a highlight of his career.

A native of Ocean City, Doug graduated from Ocean City High School in 1982 after attending Blair Academy. He furthered his education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, earning his degree in 1986. During his formative years, he gained valuable experience working at local businesses such as Bert's Beach Rental, Fun City USA, and the Copper Kettle Fudge on the Boardwalk.

Doug has been married to his wife, Epiphany, a partner at Fox Rothschild LLP, for 26 years. Together, they have three children: Devon, who earned her Master's degree from Columbia after completing her undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt; Douglas, a senior at the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University, who will begin his role as a Consumer Banking Analyst at Citi Bank in the fall of 2022; and Dolan, a freshman at the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.

Since obtaining his real estate license in 1984, Doug has continually advanced his expertise. He is a graduate of the New Jersey Realtor Institute, a certified Residential Specialist, and has undergone advanced training at the Temple University Real Estate Institute. From 2001 to 2015, he was a leading figure in sales and listings at Berger Realty, consistently achieving multi-million-dollar production since 1989, with over $100 million in career sales. In addition to being a registered builder in New Jersey, Doug specializes in waterfront development and construction.

In 2016, Doug and his team transitioned to Long and Foster, where they established The Grisbaum Group, now located at 628 Asbury Ave, Ocean City, NJ. Their dedication and success have been recognized with numerous accolades, including the Gold Team Founders Club in 2017 and 2018, Top Producer for Settled Units in 2018, and the Gold Team Masters Club in 2019.

Outside of real estate, Doug leads an active lifestyle, enjoying activities such as pool swimming, open water racing, water skiing, jet skiing, boating, racquetball, golf, snow skiing, and attending Eagles games. He also cherishes walks on the beach with his dogs, Chester and Tinker.
