Doug, a native of Wake County, graduated Summa Cum Laude from NC State University, earning a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics. Before embarking on his real estate career with Linda in July 2006, he accumulated 14 years of diverse experience in oil exportation, corporate recruiting, and significantly contributed to transforming Jacobs Custom Cabinets & Design Company into one of the largest custom cabinetry and millwork firms in the Triangle area.

As the Chief Operating Officer of The Jacobs Team, Doug leverages his extensive expertise in operations and management. He is an active member of both the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors® (RRAR) and the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors® (TCAR), reflecting his commitment to the real estate profession.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Doug is deeply involved in his community through Green Level Baptist Church, where he serves as Deacon Chair of the Church Building Renovations/Expansion Committee and teaches Sunday School. His leadership experience extends to the Fuquay-Varina Athletic Association (FVAA), where he has held the position of President on the Board of Directors and currently serves as Head Commissioner for FVAA Baseball.
