Drew is a graduate of Santa Clara University, where he earned degrees in Finance and Accounting. Alongside his partner, Roy Grimm, he shares a background as a member of a nationally-ranked collegiate rowing team. Following his academic pursuits, Drew served as an officer in the U.S. Navy, ultimately achieving the rank of Commander while remaining in the reserves.
