About Earl Caldwell

With over three decades of expertise in resort home sales, property management, and financing, this seasoned real estate professional has a deep-rooted connection to the industry. Growing up in a real estate family, he was influenced by his father, a realtor active in Oregon, California, and Nevada. From an early age, he witnessed the market's fluctuations and gained firsthand experience in the field.

During high school, he began processing mortgage loans for his father's company, Allied Mortgage, and assisted with open houses. Although he initially pursued a different career path after graduation in 1987, his passion for real estate soon drew him back. A pivotal moment came when he helped sell a beachfront property, earning more in that single transaction than in a year at his previous job. This experience solidified his commitment to the real estate profession.

He and his father operated Shoreline Real Estate in Carlsbad and Oceanside, California, focusing on oceanfront properties until 1997. In 1998, they relocated to Borrego Springs, California, where he began working with the onsite brokerage at Rams Hill Country Club, specializing in home and home site sales. By 2002, he partnered with his father to establish Rams Hill Homes, Rams Hill Vacation Rentals, Borrego Vacation Rentals, and Borrego Homes Land & Investment Properties, which continue to thrive in Borrego Springs.

In July 2011, seeking a change and a small-town lifestyle, he and his family moved to Mesquite, Nevada. The vibrant community, favorable climate, and appealing homes made it an ideal location. Mesquite offers essential amenities, recreational activities, and proximity to Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, and Zion National Park.

After settling in Mesquite, he quickly obtained his Nevada real estate license, advancing directly to Broker due to his extensive experience. Since November 2012, he has been affiliated with ERA Brokers Consolidated, consistently ranking in the top 10% of individual agents nationwide from 2014 to 2018. As of May 2019, he has achieved placement in the top 1% of ERA agents across the country.
