Ed Keyes, originally from Ohio, developed a deep appreciation for Colorado during his freshman year at the University of Northern Colorado, where he transferred from Hawaii. It was there that he met his future wife, Kathy, a native of Colorado Springs.

After earning his degree, Ed returned to Dayton, Ohio, where he and Kathy established a successful sign business at the age of 24. Over the next 34 years, their company became a prominent player in the industry. Throughout this period, Ed and Kathy frequently visited Colorado, always envisioning a permanent return.

In 2006, Ed sold the business and relocated to Pagosa Springs, where he transitioned into a career in real estate. He brings a wealth of industry knowledge, substantial business acumen, and an unwavering dedication to prioritizing his clients' needs.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Ed enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including golf, skiing, hiking, fishing, and hunting. He remains active in the Masters Swimming Program. Ed and Kathy are proud parents to three children—Eddie, Anne, and Jennifer—and have four grandchildren.
