Her real estate journey began at the Rossmoor Realty office in the East Bay, after which she transitioned to a national brokerage. For three years, she and Ann co-owned and managed the Better Homes and Gardens Mason McDuffie Real Estate office located in the Rossmoor Shopping Center. Although the office's managing broker has transitioned from BHG to Intero Real Estate and is now part of the RE/MAX Accord family, their commitment to the community remains steadfast.

An East Bay native, she grew up in Danville and attended Baldwin Elementary, Charlotte Wood Middle School, and San Ramon Valley High School. After high school, she studied at Diablo Valley College, which included a semester abroad in London, before continuing her education at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Following college, she spent a few years in San Francisco and the coastal towns of Pacifica and Moss Beach before returning to the East Bay in 2010. She and her husband chose to settle in a vibrant neighborhood in Lafayette, where they are raising their two children, Aidan and Penny. Their family is actively involved in local activities, and weekends often find them at various events or enjoying time at the dog park with their Mini Goldendoodle, Rocket.
