In Gainesville, she has gained extensive experience in both the public and private healthcare sectors as a former business owner. Prior to her career in real estate, she contributed to the academic community by mentoring students on topics related to diversity and inclusion at local colleges and universities.

A strong advocate for community engagement, she co-founded the UF Filipino Student Association during her college years and remains actively involved in various international organizations. Recently, she established the Young and Young at Heart Chapter of Brighter Lipstick Bigger Earrings, a nonprofit dedicated to fostering intergenerational connections for meaningful causes. In her leisure time, she enjoys quilting, jewelry crafting, gardening, and woodworking.
