About Ellen Sither

Ellen is a fourth-generation real estate professional with deep roots in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1996, she and her family moved to Western North Carolina, drawn by the charm of Waynesville and the desire to further her career in real estate. Ellen's family history in the industry is notable; her great-grandfather and grandfather were instrumental in developing Atlanta's Brookwood Hills neighborhood in 1922, a site now recognized on the National Register of Historic Places. Her father continued this legacy by managing Burdett Realty Company into the 1960s. Ellen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Georgia and has accumulated significant professional experience in the nonprofit sector, particularly in healthcare and education. In 2011, she fulfilled her long-held ambition to become a Realtor, embracing her passion and family legacy.
