Ellen Camacho serves as the Managing Broker for Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty, overseeing operations in South Lake Tahoe, California, and Zephyr Cove, Nevada. With a deep understanding of the real estate landscape, Ellen is a respected figure within the industry, embodying the professionalism and integrity that define Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty.

Her active participation in the South Tahoe Association of Realtors has been marked by significant leadership roles, including her tenure as the 2016 President of the Board. Ellen's contributions have been recognized through multiple accolades, including the 2012 Rookie of the Year, the 2014 Community Service Award, the 2015 Distinguished Realtor Award, and the 2016 Realtor of the Year. Since 2015, she has also been a member of the STAR MLS Committee and has served on the Grievance Committee since 2017.

Ellen's commitment extends beyond local involvement; she has been a California Association of Realtors (CAR) Director for five years, where she gained invaluable insights into state-level real estate practices. Her roles within CAR have included serving on the Membership and Forum on Forms committees, as well as holding the positions of Vice Chair in 2017 and Chair of Credentials in 2018.

Dedicated to professional development, Ellen holds several prestigious designations, including Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate Real Estate Institute (GRI), Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS), ePRO, and South Tahoe Area Residential Specialist (STAR). In 2022, she was elected as the Lake Tahoe Director for Sierra Nevada Realtors and has been a member of the Risk Reduction Sub Committee for the Northern Nevada Region MLS since 2018.

Ellen is also committed to community service. She has been an active member of Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe since 2006, serving as the Club President in 2010. Additionally, she has been involved with the Parish Council of St. Theresa Catholic Church since 2008, where she currently serves as Secretary.

Outside of her professional and community commitments, Ellen enjoys hiking and biking. She has been married to her husband, Paul, since 1987, and they have two children.
