About Eric Baucom

Eric and Janet have called Ventura County home for over three decades. Eric has been a dedicated Realtor® since 1999, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the industry. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Marketing from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, as well as an MBA from Pepperdine University.

Before joining Eric at Coastlands Real Estate Group, Janet built a successful career at Amgen, where she served as a Compensation Manager and a Training and Organizational Development Specialist. She also operated her own consulting business. Janet earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and holds a Master’s Degree from California State University, Northridge.

Married for 31 years, Eric and Janet are proud parents of three children. Their son Alex recently completed a Master’s in Robotics at the University of Pennsylvania and is currently a Robotics Engineer in the Bay Area. Jeffrey, another son, holds a degree in Architecture from Cal Poly SLO and works at an architectural firm in Irvine. Their daughter Karissa is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Executive Leadership while living and working in Australia.

In addition to his professional commitments, Eric serves as an elder at Ventura Missionary Church and is actively involved in the church’s missions program. He has played a leadership role in the Songhai project, which aims to provide medical care and clean water to communities in Nigeria. When not engaged in work, church, or family activities, Eric enjoys capturing landscape photography and cycling.

Janet has also participated in numerous mission trips to Mexico and Haiti, focusing on orphan care. In her leisure time, she cherishes moments at the beach and with family and friends. Together, they founded Project Bicycle Love, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing new bicycles and helmets to children in the local foster care system.
