About Erik Ulvog

Erik Ulvog, a native of Milwaukee, has deep roots in the community, proudly embracing his Wisconsin heritage. After graduating from Vincent High School in 1990, he served as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army Reserves. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 1995, marking the beginning of his professional journey.

Erik launched his real estate career in 1996, joining Wauwatosa Realty (now Shorewest Realtors) in 1997. He attributes his early success to the mentorship of his sales manager, Wendy Ekstrom, whose dedication to nurturing agents profoundly influenced his approach to both real estate and leadership.

In 2017, Erik co-founded myPro Realty with his cousin Joe Liban and business partner Jes Klimas Reish, starting the venture at his dining room table. The following year, trusted colleague Jeff Kaus joined the firm, along with Erik’s wife, who took on a supportive role. The growth of myPro Realty is rooted in a strong commitment to personal development, fostering an environment where agents build meaningful relationships to assist clients in navigating significant life decisions.

Erik believes that myPro agents exemplify professionalism, offering tailored real estate solutions to meet the unique needs of each client. On a personal note, Erik is married to the daughter of an Iowa cattle farmer and is the proud father of two children, Evelyn and Will. He enjoys outdoor activities, architecture, bird hunting, and reading. Erik is also dedicated to mentoring young men as they prepare for the challenges of work, marriage, and family life.

When not focused on real estate, Erik is continually seeking ways to enhance his skills, currently pursuing graduate studies. He is actively involved in supporting local non-profits and has served as the past president of his neighborhood association. A proud member of the Platypus Circle at the Zoological Society of Milwaukee, Erik is an enthusiastic supporter of the red panda exhibit and values the organization’s conservation efforts both locally and globally.
