Known affectionately as "Mr. Napa" or the "Unofficial Mayor," Gary is a prominent figure in the Napa community, recognized for his extensive network and active involvement in local initiatives. His contributions have earned him several accolades, including "Community Volunteer of the Year" and "Citizen of the Year" in 2013, along with recognition as a semi-finalist for "National Realtor of the Year."

Currently, Gary serves on the board of the Napa Valley College Foundation and holds the position of Honorary Commander at Travis Air Force Base. He has also dedicated twelve years to the foundation board of Queen of the Valley Hospital.

Gary is perhaps best known for founding and directing one of the Bay Area's most celebrated events, the Wine Valley Cycle for Sight / Rotary Ride for Veterans. This annual festival, which combines wine, food, music, and cycling, attracts over 2,200 attendees each year and has raised more than $2.3 million over the past 13 years. The proceeds primarily support two local charities: The Pathway Home Program, a privately funded treatment center for veterans, and Enchanted Hills Camp for the Blind, both located in Napa Valley.

With 33 years of experience in real estate, Gary consistently ranks among the top-producing agents in Napa Valley, having successfully closed over 1,000 transactions.
