His professional background spans three decades in the financial sector in San Francisco, where he operated a family stock and options business at the former Pacific Stock Exchange. His leadership roles included serving on various self-regulatory exchange committees and boards, as well as holding senior management positions at Newedge USA. He was also elected to the NYSE Exchange’s Board of Directors, where he served two terms.

Outside of real estate, he tends to a beautiful garden filled with roses and fruit trees, and possesses extensive knowledge of the hiking and biking trails surrounding Mount Tamalpais. He is actively involved in community-building initiatives, including an annual project that takes students to Mexico to construct homes for families in need. Known for his culinary skills, particularly with his Weber BBQ, he is affectionately dubbed the “Commodore” among friends.
