About Gay Wheeler

Gay Lynn Wheeler, a fifth-generation Texan, hails from Monahans in West Texas and has called the Highland Lakes area home for over two decades. Her commitment to the Central Texas community is evident through her previous role as Director of the Kingsland Chamber of Commerce and her six-year tenure as chair of the 4th of July Aqua Boom festivities in Kingsland. Additionally, she has successfully owned and operated a furniture store in Kingsland for 15 years.

Family and business are central to Gay Lynn's life. She follows a proud lineage in real estate, inspired by her father, a Texas real estate broker for 47 years, her mother, a Texas real estate agent, and her brother, who is both a Texas real estate broker and a Certified Property Manager.

Gay Lynn's educational background includes music studies at Texas Tech University and Texas Woman's University. With over 30 years of experience, she continues to teach piano and voice lessons and serves as an accompanist and vocal coach at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. In addition to her musical pursuits, she is an active member of the Community Services Committee of the Highland Lakes Board of Realtors.

Her professional journey also includes 12 years in banking and mortgage financing, as well as experience in oilfield sales and art design.
