Gema's real estate career began in 1987, initially in the lending sector before she obtained her real estate and broker licenses. In 2002, she founded her own real estate brokerage and loan company, successfully managing it until 2008, when she decided to concentrate solely on real estate sales. She is an active member of both the Santa Clara County Association of Realtors (SCCAOR) and the California Association of Realtors (CAR). Additionally, she holds the designation of Certified REO & Short Sale Specialist from The Five Star Institute and has served as the Santa Clara County Chapter President of the National Hispanic Organization of Real Estate Associates (NHORA) twice. Currently, she is a member of the NHORA National Board of Directors.
