About Gerald Hogan

Born and raised in Missoula, this real estate professional has deep roots in the community, having attended Loyola High School and the University of Montana. From 1977 to 1985, he specialized in residential and income properties as a real estate agent in Missoula. He then transitioned to Eastern Washington, where he worked as a Credit and Finance Manager for a division of ConAgra from 1985 to 2003. In this role, he also managed commercial real estate acquisitions and disposals, as well as new construction projects.

In 2004, he returned to Missoula to care for his ailing mother. During the following two years, he operated as a general contractor, successfully completing two subdivisions and building homes for sale. Since February 2007, he has been an active full-time realtor, leveraging his extensive background in real estate.

Having witnessed significant changes in the Missoula Valley, he appreciates the area's natural beauty and enjoys outdoor activities such as motorcycling, hiking, and fishing. He believes that Western Montana offers unparalleled access to pristine streams, lakes, and majestic mountain landscapes.

His educational background includes attendance at the University of Montana and participation in various real estate seminars, including those offered by ITT Consumer Finance. He is a charter member and serves on the Board of Directors for Bikers Against Bullies USA, an organization dedicated to anti-bullying education and support in schools. Additionally, he was formerly involved with the Guardian Angels, a nonprofit that assisted cancer patients with travel and lodging expenses.

He is an active member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and serves on the Missoula County Board of Realtors, where he is also part of the Ethics Committee. He holds certifications as a Residential Specialist and as a Short Sale and Foreclosure Specialist.
