About Gregory Flaherty

Greg Flaherty serves as the CEO and Broker of Penny Realty Inc., as well as a Broker Associate with Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty. With a California real estate broker license since 1990 and a corporate real estate officer license since 1995, Greg brings over 25 years of industry experience to his clients, consistently advocating for their best interests.

Previously, Greg was the Broker/Owner of Re/Max Coastal Properties for 22 years, during which he received the prestigious Re/Max Hall of Fame award and was recognized with the “Outstanding Brokerage Office of the Year” award in 2013. In 2017, to enhance the level of service offered to both buyers and sellers, he transitioned his brokerage to Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty, where he continues to work as a Broker Associate. He has also leased the second floor of his ocean-view office building to Pacific Sotheby’s, facilitating their expansion in Pacific Beach and the surrounding coastal areas.

Penny Realty Inc. operates from the first floor of the same office building. Under Greg’s leadership, the firm manages over 300 properties, including homes, condos, apartment complexes, and vacation rentals throughout the Coastal and Central regions of San Diego.

Greg holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego. He has earned the designation of Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) from The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) recognized by the National Association of Realtors.

With extensive experience in sales management and complex transactions involving fine homes, condominiums, and income properties, Greg offers clients exceptional service in negotiations, property value analysis, return on investment calculations, and cash flow maximization strategies, all while staying informed on current market trends.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Greg and his wife Shayne are dedicated parents to their four children. He invites potential clients to reach out for a complimentary market analysis, emphasizing his commitment to serving their real estate needs.
