About Harry Butler

Tripp Butler, a Georgia native and alumnus of the University of Alabama, has been a pivotal figure at Southbridge Realty since joining as Chief Operations Officer in Winter 2007. By September 2008, he ascended to the role of Owner at Southbridge Greater Savannah Realty.

Tripp began his professional journey in commercial real estate in Atlanta before relocating to Charleston in the early 1990s. There, he served as a sales executive with Wild Dunes Real Estate. His career progressed as he took on roles of increasing responsibility, ultimately becoming broker, partner, and CEO. In this capacity, he oversaw all aspects of the business, including profit and loss management, goal setting, operations, marketing, and sales management, while leading a team of 20 professionals. During his tenure, he played a crucial role in revitalizing the residential development firm, which, in collaboration with Wild Dunes Development Company, saw annual sales surge by over $70 million before its acquisition by Lowe Enterprises in 2005.

From 2006 to 2007, Tripp served as Vice President of Genesis Designer Homes, a position he secured through a recommendation from the mutual CPA of both companies. Under his leadership, the sales team and support staff met an ambitious revenue target for 2006, achieving 100% of their goal even as competitors struggled in a declining market.

Tripp holds a broker’s license in Georgia and a residential builder’s license in South Carolina. He is actively involved in his community, serving as a member of Compassion Christian Church and the Savannah Historical Society. Additionally, he has contributed to the Small Business Chamber of Savannah and served on The Living Vine board from 2008 to 2010. His company is also a member of the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce.
