About Heather Peterson

Heather Peterson, a lifelong resident of Peterborough, has deep roots in the community, having engaged with its educational institutions, cultural offerings, and outdoor activities throughout her upbringing. After completing her studies at Dartmouth College, where she competed on the ski team, Heather gained valuable experience working in marketing for international organizations in Geneva, Switzerland, and in the travel sector across Central America and Europe.

She eventually returned to her hometown to join the family real estate firm established by her grandfather in 1948. Currently, she serves as the Managing Broker for the Peterborough office of Four Seasons Sotheby’s International Realty and has previously held the position of President and co-owner of The Petersons Inc. Real Estate. Heather is also an emeritus member of the Realtor organization, reflecting her commitment to the profession.

Dedicated to public service, Heather has contributed her expertise to various local boards and committees, including the Long Range Planning Commission, the Affordable Housing Committee, and the Planning Board. Her involvement extends to serving on the boards of Andy’s Summer Playhouse, the Monadnock Children’s Museum, and the Scott-Farrar Retirement Community. Additionally, she has participated in advisory roles for the Monadnock Center for History & Culture, the New Hampshire Charitable Fund, and the Swift Water Girl Scouts property committee.

With over 40 years of real estate experience, Heather possesses a comprehensive understanding of the Monadnock Region and its amenities, which she eagerly shares with clients. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the area's extensive network of woodland trails alongside her veterinarian husband and their two dogs.
