Ian Welch is a seasoned real estate professional with a robust background in business and finance. He graduated from Miami Killian Senior High in 2001 and pursued higher education at Florida A&M University, the oldest historically Black college and university in Florida. At FAMU, he focused on entrepreneurship within the esteemed School of Business & Industry, where he not only excelled academically but also became an active member of the Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. This involvement reinforced his commitment to the values of scholarship, leadership, citizenship, fidelity, and brotherhood.

While completing his degree in Business Administration in 2006, Ian dedicated his evenings to obtaining his real estate license, successfully passing both the coursework and state examinations on his first attempt. He returned to Miami and began his career with Milan Realty & Milan Mortgage Bankers, where he was involved in loan processing, underwriting, marketing, and quality control, gaining valuable insights into the dynamic real estate landscape.

However, shortly after his entry into the industry, the real estate market faced a significant downturn. Ian adeptly navigated this challenging environment and transitioned to Premier Realty & Investment Group, a Fannie Mae REO vendor, where he managed operations and deepened his expertise in the REO and foreclosure sectors.

His journey continued at Real Estate Sales Force, one of South Florida's fastest-growing real estate firms, where he embraced the digital transformation of the industry. Leveraging the skills he acquired, Ian established his own brokerage, IMW Realty. He serves clients throughout South Florida, with a particular focus on the Homestead and Cutler Bay areas.
