Craig, a California native, was raised in Oklahoma within a military family. His father, Harley, retired from the Navy in 1956. Following his graduation from Phillips University in 1969, Craig enlisted in the Marines, serving as an officer in various locations, including North Carolina, Okinawa, and California.

In 1994, Craig and his wife, Judy, returned to Enid. Judy pursues her passion for breeding Cavalier King Charles Spaniels as a hobby. The couple is actively involved in their community through Covenant Life Christian Fellowship, a non-denominational church, where Craig holds the position of elder.

Since entering the real estate sector in June 1994, Craig has established himself as a leading agent. His commitment to extensive advertising has resulted in him selling more homes than any other realtor or realty team for 16 out of the past 17 years, including from 2011 to the present.
