About Jacki Thornburg

She acquired her EXIT Realty franchise in December 2020, building upon her earlier establishment of Heart Properties in 2009, which she named in honor of her late father, who succumbed to heart disease. Jacki is dedicated to guiding clients through the processes of buying, selling, and building real estate.

In 2018, she undertook a significant renovation project by purchasing a deteriorating building on Bienville Boulevard in Ocean Springs, transforming it into her current real estate office. Beyond her professional endeavors, Jacki is actively involved in her community as the Public Relations Chairperson for the Ocean Springs Rotary Club and volunteers with The United MSD Foundation, focusing on fundraising for children affected by a rare disease.

Her commitment to the real estate profession is further demonstrated through her roles on the Professional Standards Committee and the Grievance Committee, as well as her position as a Board Member of the Gulf Coast Association of REALTORS®. As a founding member and co-chair of Birdies for Brian, she contributes to efforts aimed at funding kidney cancer research. Jacki was also part of the Ambassador Club for the Rapiscan Systems Classic and the Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic from 2015 to 2017.

In 2013 and 2014, she played a pivotal role in coordinating the construction and marketing of the Mississippi Gulf Coast St. Jude Dream Home. Jacki is a graduate of the 2013 Leadership Gulf Coast program and participated in the Coast REALTORS® Leadership Class of 2012. Additionally, she chaired the Mississippi Gulf Coast Women of Achievement Awards Luncheon & Business Expo in 2011.

Originally from Michigan, Jacki has a robust background in real estate and mortgage lending. She holds degrees in Economics and Communication from The University of Toledo in Ohio. Currently residing in Biloxi with her husband, Mike, Jacki enjoys boating, traveling, golfing, and savoring wine and beer—ideally all during the same vacation.
